What drives a person to become a medical volunteer in a war zone? To find the answer, Rick went to Ukraine to explore this subculture. To truly understand what these volunteers endure, he chose to train as a medic and work alongside them.
The upcoming film Stuck Between War and Conviction follows the journey of Rick and Maria—an extraordinary woman whose relentless energy and compassion inspire everyone around her.
